H & D TITLE & CLOSING SERVICES, LLC was founded in 2005, as an outgrowth to the law practices of Richard A. Hull, III, in York County, Maine, and Eric Schaeffer in Cumberland County. It provides title insurance and closing services to institutions, private lenders and individuals in York, Cumberland, Oxford, Androscoggin, Lincoln, Knox and Sagadahoc Counties. Closings can be held in any of its three offices, Auburn, Maine, Biddeford, Maine, and South Portland, Maine, or in the offices of the lender or real estate agent.

H & D Title is not engaged in the practice of law but it can refer purchasers, lenders and real estate agents to counsel for real estate and real estate related matters outside of title and closing services such as review of purchase and sales agreements, 1031 exchanges and drafting powers of attorney and private mortgage documents.
